eBay Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How does this service work?
A1: At Image Computer Solutions we handle all aspects of the
auctioning process. Clients bring in their items and fill out a
brief contract. We then research and photograph the items and
post them on eBay.com. We correspond with potential buyers
answering questions and providing additional pictures and
information. When an auction ends successfully we receive the
payment and ship to the winning bidder. After the transaction on
eBay is complete we mail you a check for the amount you have
earned.
Q2: What does the service cost?
A2: All of the commission and fees for this service are deducted
right from your check so that you never pay anything out of
pocket. Our standard commission rate is 30% for items selling
under $500.00. 25% for sale's up to $2000.00 and 20% for
anything over that amount.
Q3: What sells on eBay?
A3: Honestly.....anything. With the right starting bid and
reasonable shipping anything can be sold on eBay. We have sold
items as small as loose coin all the way up to a four door
sedan.
Q4: Will I be able to see my items online?
A4: Yes. We send a link to your email address that will bring
you directly into our eBay store where you can view and monitor
all or your eBay auctions at any time.
Q5: What is an eBay store?
A5: An eBay store is a fixed location on eBay.com where all of a
seller's items are available. These stores are mainly for "Power
Sellers" and are very helpful to our drop store clients. All of
our active auctions point back to the store and similar items
that we are currently offering. These features provide maximum
exposure to our auctions as well as an easy and comfortable
format for browsing them.
Q6: What is a Power Seller?
A6: A Power Seller is an eBay member who meets certain criteria
to be recognized as such. These criteria include: A high volume
of sales, a high level of customer support and satisfaction,
strict compliance with all eBay policies, and keeping current
standing with eBay's seller account. Once a member reaches Power
Seller status they are given a raised level of exposure on the
site and are much more likely to have shoppers than a regular
eBay member.
Q7: How reliable is eBay as an auctioning service?
A7: We have been using eBay throughout the last decade and find
it to be very reliable. The greatest part about the eBay drop
service is that we take on all responsibility for the sale of
your belongings. There is no headache and no hoops to jump
through. You will never have to worry about transferring your
personal information or money over the internet by using this
service.
